The Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) invites you to provide feedback on the proposed updated entry-to-practice competencies for medical radiation technologists (MRTs). Offering your expertise and perspective is an important contribution you can make to the profession, helping to ensure the competencies reflect today’s practice and prepare for the future.
Proposed revised competencies:
- Core Competencies (apply to all MRTs)
- Clinical Expert Role – Magnetic Resonance
- Clinical Expert Role – Nuclear Medicine
- Clinical Expert Role – Radiological Technology
- Clinical Expert Role – Radiation Therapy

Who should participate in the validation survey?
We welcome input from across the MRT community and beyond, including:
- Practicing MRTs from all disciplines, regions, and settings (hospitals, clinics, cancer centres, academic institutions, etc.)
- Students and recent graduates from accredited MRT programs
- Internationally educated MRTs
- Employers, regulators, and other health professionals
- Members of the public
