Enhance the Value and Increase the Reach of your Educational Activities
The Continuing Education Credit Approval Program (CECAP) offers you the ability to have your education activity accredited by the CAMRT. This process ensures that meaningful educational activities are clearly identifiable for Canadian MRTs, shows your participants that your activity has met consistently high educational standards, and brings value to your event.
Please remember: CAMRT CECAP requires lead time prior to your event to review and accredit sessions. Please submit your application as early as possible, and please be aware of the minimum timelines that we require in our Handbook (posted below).
Please also note that CECAP response will be delayed in late May-early June during our conference, from mid-Sept to Oct 01, and in advance of MRT week, and we highly suggest that you prioritize any forthcoming accreditation events well in advance of those dates.
Benefits of Accreditation
- Once approved, your activity can signal that it meets a high standard and will fulfill continuing education requirements established by provincial associations or regulatory bodies, Sonography Canada, the CAR accreditation programs and the ARRT (for those who also submit credits to the American association), so MRTs will know that taking your activity directly benefits them!
- This accreditation indicates to your participants that the event meets high educational standards and is free from sponsor bias.

- You will enjoy complimentary listing on the CPD Repository (optional) and can brand your activity as CAMRT-CECAP approved.
