Preparing for the CAMRT Certification Exam                            Presentation

Purpose: To answer exam candidates questions about the CAMRT certification exam

Exam Information

The CAMRT has developed Exam Preparation Guides to assist candidates who intend to write the national entry-to-practice certification exam. All guides are designed for use by all exam candidates: graduates of Canadian accredited programs and international educated medical radiation technologists (IEMRTs).

Exam Information This provides information on the certification exam development process, exam eligibility, resources for exam preparation, release of results, and the appeal process.
Candidate Statement of Understanding This statement will be emailed to all candidates a week prior to their exam date for review. All candidates will be provided this statement and must then read and acknowledge this statement before starting their exam on the day of the test.

Exam Formats

Remote Proctoring This provides information on certification exam administration, including details about remote proctoring and how to register, prepare and write a remote proctored exam.
Test Centre This provides information on certification exam administration, including how to register, prepare and write an exam at a Test Centre.

We recommend that all exam candidates review each guide in its entirety to ensure they are fully informed prior to registration. Once an exam candidate has registered to write at an approved Test Centre or a remote proctored exam, the candidate can reference both the General Exam Preparation Guide and the specific guide associated with the exam format they registered to write (i.e., Test Centre or remote proctored).
