CPD Supporting Research
- A PDF resource that introduces you to the format, rationale and scoring norms for scientific abstracts, including tips and tricks to help your acceptance rate. This includes a look at research, foundational knowledge, the National Conference submission abstract guidelines and expert input from Carly McCuaig, Managing Editor, Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences on publishing pitfalls and hints.
- Video resources that walk you through common pitfalls and ways to set yourself up for success as an MRT-Author! These are two free conversational video resources that will give concrete and encouraging examples and build your ability to write and publish abstracts. - Our full-length course, AI and its Application in Medical Radiation Technology, was designed for practicing MRTs interested in foundational understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) as it applies to their field. It will cover the basic concepts relevant to machine learning and big data, as well as how emerging AI strategies will impact medical imaging and radiation therapy practice, including practical, ethical, regulatory, and professional considerations.
