From Year One to What’s Next: A Message from the CAMRT CEO Kelly Masotti
One year. Hundreds of conversations. One incredible profession.
A year ago, I stepped into the role of CEO at the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
What has stood out most over the past 12 months is the people.
Across Canada, I’ve had the chance to meet medical radiation technologists who bring incredible skill, dedication, and compassion to their work every day.
MRTs play a critical role in our health system—from diagnosis to treatment—and it has been inspiring to learn more about the impact of this profession.
Travelling to regional meetings, conferences, and events has given me the opportunity to listen and learn from members across the country. Those conversations have helped shape my understanding of both the opportunities ahead and the challenges facing the profession.
As we look ahead, I’m especially excited about the strategic planning work underway and the opportunity to help shape the future of the profession together.
Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me, shared your perspectives, and made this first year such a meaningful one.
Looking forward to what comes next.
