• Register now – March 04, 2026 at 19:00 (7pm eastern): Hopedale Portable x-ray Pilot Project Webinar (Nunatsiavut) Join us for this webinar, discussing the recent successful Hopedale portable x-ray pilot project that occurred. We’re going beyond the press release to discuss the planning, CAMRT support, vendor (FujiFilm, via a trusted MRT) perspective, governmental and health authority action (from NL and Nunatsiavut), and the perspective of the MRT who was there, on the ground, making this project safely tick. This will run approximately one hour with live questions.
• March 05 at 12:00 eastern: Post-Surgical Restorative Nipple Areola Tattooing with Dr Alexandra Ginty, who become the first physician in Ontario to perform restorative areola tattooing on post-mastectomy cancer patients and founded Restore-me to help support the healing process for those in recovery. Join us March 05 at noon for a discussion that covers the artistic and medical implications of breast restoration and tattooing. This will run one hour approximately, with live questions.
• March 26, 2026, 12:00 eastern: AI Implementation in Mammography: “From Pixels to Priorities: AI-Driven Solutions for Lesion Detection & Workflow Optimization”. This spring, we will welcome a discussion of the current use cases of AI in breast cancer treatment. Dr Vivianne Freitas (MSc) will orient you on the use types of cases and implications of AI use in mammography, situating you confidently in your work and in discussing the implications of AI-drive solutions in mammography in this fast-changing area. This will run 40 mins approximately.
• Interested in an in-person event? CSBI & OAR are presenting a standardized, hands-on Mammography Positioning Workshop on March 28, 2026, for MRTs in the Mississauga area. The CAMRT Education Department has supported this educational content for MRTs with accreditation though an educational agreement with CSBI.
