CAMRT-BC has many opportunities for members to volunteer. These opportunities allow members to build their experience in areas of personal interest, to contribute back to the profession, and also to enjoy meeting other MRTs from across the province. One easy way to start as a volunteer is to become a Site Ambassador.

The council functions under the guidance of the Provincial Manager, CAMRT-BC. Meetings are held twice annually (typically spring and fall, with one meeting face to face in Vancouver).

- current members of the CAMRT-BC
- from any of the four disciplines (RTT, RTR, RTNM, RTMR)
- from any part of the province

To apply, send your resume and cover letter to serdelyi@camrt.ca by January 31, 2024 at 11:59 pm PT. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for a short online interview.
*For this round of applications, we are especially seeking RTT and RTMR representation, as well as representation from northern and/or interior BC.
“I joined the CAMRT-BC Advisory Council in January 2020. As a new council member, I have enjoyed meeting other MRTs and hearing about their roles and work environments, their challenges, and accomplishments in the past year. Sarah has been great in leading our council and Sarah is appreciative of the time that we take to share dialogue via emails and attending our bi-annual meetings. Outside of these meetings, the time commitment is totally at the discretion of each council member and I have found my experience on the council to be very enjoyable and rewarding. It is great to be on a multi-disciplinary council as we strive to reach our common goals for all MRTs in BC, in areas such as recognition, professional development and advocacy.”
